AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist to support students in a Glendale Heights, Illinois elementary setting. This part-time role offers in-person, school-based work with a 1.0 FTE schedule across SY26/27.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Occupational Therapy with an IL OT license and prior school-based or pediatric experience. Compensation ranges from $50–$60 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and travel considerations where applicable.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• IL OT license
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred, fieldwork counts

Responsibilities

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify needs and develop therapy plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy interventions per IEPs to aid academic and developmental goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, and specialists to create supportive learning environments for students.
• Contribute to IEP development with insights on motor and sensory needs and accommodations.
