Job summary

AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Occupational Therapist for a local contract position in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The role supports elementary students in a school setting with pull-out and push-in services, 32 hours per week, for 41 weeks.

The position is designed for dedicated OT professionals with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and IL licensure, offering competitive pay and strong collaboration with school staff.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• IL OT license
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred, fieldwork counts

Responsibilities

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
• Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.

Education
