Job summary

Hackley Community Care in Muskegon, MI is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to support school-based programs for children and adolescents. You will provide individual and group counseling and collaborate with school staff and HCC’s provider team to address behavioral health needs.

Requirements include a Master’s in behavioral/mental health, an active Michigan license (LMSW/LLMSW/LPC/LLPC/LLP or equivalent), CPR/BLS, and experience with Play Therapy for elementary children.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral/mental health.
• Active, unrestricted Michigan license (LMSW/LLMSW/LPC/LLPC/LLP or equivalent).
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in Play Therapy with elementary-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to children and adolescents.
• Collaborate with school staff and HCC’s provider team to support mental health needs.
• Deliver consultation, education, and training to school staff as needed.
• Coordinate behavioral and mental health services for effective care delivery.
• Accurately document clinical notes in the EHR system.
• Offer evidence-based patient education in individual and classroom settings.
