Job summary

Family Health Care seeks a School-Based Mental Health Therapist to join the Grant High School-based Health Center team in Grant, Michigan. The role provides behavioral health services to children and adolescents within a school setting, collaborating with medical providers and staff to improve access to care and coordination.

Requirements include Michigan licensure (LMSW/LLMSW, LPC/LLPC, or LMFT) and a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current Michigan licensure as LMSW or LLMSW, LPC or LLPC, or LMFT.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents aged 5–21 in a School-Based Health Center.
• Conduct screenings, assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver individual and group therapies as appropriate.
• Collaborate with school personnel, healthcare providers, and families to promote coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and comply with reporting requirements.
