Applitrack is seeking an Elementary Assistant Lead for Sycamore Trails Elementary to oversee daily breakfast and lunch service under federal and state guidelines. The role includes menu posting, inventory control, and meals forecasting with lead support.

The position emphasizes customer service, accuracy in cash handling, and collaboration with the school team. A High School Diploma and Food Manager certification are required, with a 10-month contract term.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Professional Food Manager Certification must be obtained by the start of the second school term of employment.
• Experience in food service and customer service preferred.
• Proficient with computer and district software programs a bonus.
• Accuracy in handling money (cashiering, banking, etc.).
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
• Must hold a State of Illinois Food Handler card or obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment with noise, heat, and cleaning solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, distribute and manage all school meal programs following local, state and federal guidelines.
• Distributes/Posts monthly menus.
• Assists weekly projections to order all meals and supplies from the Commissary.
• Maintains daily production records and monthly inventory; submits all reports on time.
• Manage inventory levels and use FIFO/FEFO practices as directed.
• Receive and store deliveries, ensure proper rotation of stock.
• Keep accurate sales records and reconcile meal payments and balances.
• Assist with banking and deposits.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment; ensure inspections pass with no critical violations.
• Assist with marketing breakfast and lunch programs as directed by management.
