Job summary

Grand Blanc Community Schools is seeking a School Improvement Coordinator to partner with building improvement teams and the Principal to provide academic support for teachers, informed by state and local assessment data.

The role shapes the educational environment, supports staff, and drives student achievement across Eisenhower, Potter, and Brownell STEM Elementary schools, with a starting salary and a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a 210-day annual schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education required; Michigan elementary teaching certificate for placement.
• State of Michigan School Administrator Certification required; note on certification timelines.
• 5+ years of certified elementary teaching experience; 2+ years in educational leadership preferred; 2+ years as academic coach or curriculum coordinator preferred; grant management and data interpretation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with building improvement teams and Principals to provide academic support using state/local data.
• Implement best instructional practices to enhance teaching and learning environment.
• Support staff and foster student achievement across assigned locations.
