Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Counseling or related field required.
• Current Tennessee School Counselor License or eligibility for licensure required.
• Experience with elementary-aged students preferred.
• Strong knowledge of social-emotional learning and counseling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling addressing academic and social-emotional needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive counseling programs aligned with state standards.
• Support teachers and staff in addressing student behavioral and emotional concerns.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians to support student success and well-being.
• Conduct crisis intervention and provide referrals as needed.
• Maintain confidential student records and progress notes.
• Lead SEL initiatives and school-wide programs.
• Participate in professional development and school improvement efforts.
