Job summary

The Judge Group seeks a dedicated Behavioral Technician to support students in elementary schools within the local district. You will collaborate with teachers and staff to foster a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include direct behavioral support for students with autism, documentation of progress, and adherence to established behavior plans and school protocols. The role requires calm, patient interaction and teamwork throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in high-stress situations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to student success.
• Ability to follow established behavior support plans and school protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral support to students with autism and other behavioral needs.
• Assist in managing challenging behaviors, including elopement and occasional aggression.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies in collaboration with classroom staff and support teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavioral incidents, and interventions.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Support students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals.
