Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Behavioral Health Paraprofessional to support elementary students in school-based services in Troy, MO. This part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week) offers emotional and behavioral support to help children thrive, with an internal title Pinocchio Associate.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Work Experience: Professional or practical history working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and observe students (grades K–3) for program eligibility.
• Meet weekly with each eligible child individually or in small groups.
• Collaborate with families to develop individualized support plans.
• Schedule and facilitate two parent conferences during the school year.
• Coordinate with school staff and families to ensure appropriate services.
• Link families to additional Compass Health programs and resources as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and meet productivity expectations.
• Attend required team meetings, training, and supervision sessions.
