Job summary

Huntington Learning Center in Columbus is seeking dynamic phonics and reading tutors for in-person teaching to elementary students during the school day. This position is not remote and requires a bachelor’s degree.

You will work with a Lead Teacher and Program Director, follow Huntington’s instruction methods, supervise students, and maintain attendance and progress records. Prior teaching experience is preferred; teaching certification is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is REQUIRED.
• Prior teaching experience is PREFERRED.
• Teaching certificate is preferred but not required.
• Position is in-person at Columbus area schools.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum.
• Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs.
• Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times.
• Maintain student records of attendance and progress.
