Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reinforce reading, language arts, math and computer skills with students.
• Work with students alone, in groups, and with whole classes to reinforce learning.
• Substitute for or assist professional staff in administering and correcting work.
• Prepare instructional materials and adapt activities to individual needs.
• Maintain records documenting student learning and performance.
• Support behavior management to keep students on task in a safe environment.
• Supervise non-instructional activities (lunch, bus duty, playground, etc.).
• accompany students on field trips to provide supervision.
• Assist with parent communication to promote involvement in education.
• Support students with disabilities to maximize inclusion and participation.
