Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers elementary curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Maintains a safe classroom environment conducive to individualized and small-group instruction.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates them into learning experiences.
• Assesses student learning and adjusts instruction to meet diverse needs, including students with special needs.
• Communicates student progress and goals to parents and administration.
• Participates in professional development opportunities to stay current in education.
• Maintains accurate records of grading, attendance, and student progress.
• Fosters parental involvement and effective communication with families.
• Coordinates with colleagues to evaluate curriculum and participate in meetings.
