Job summary

Springfield City Schools in Ohio seeks a Physical Education Teacher at Snyder Park Elementary for the 2026-27 school year. The district serves approximately 7,500 Pre-K through 12 students with a 1:1 initiative and a digital learning lab.

Applicants must hold current Ohio Department of Education licensure, be flexible, collaborative, and able to work with diverse learners. Salary is per the negotiated agreement; benefits and PD are offered.

Qualifications

• Current licensure issued by the Ohio Department of Education.
• Willingness to participate in professional development sessions.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials with individualized and small group instruction.
• Use multiple approaches to meet diverse learning needs.
• Engage in active, hands-on approaches to help students improve skills.
• Identify student strengths and monitor progress with assessments.
• Maintain records and report grades and progress.
• Provide instruction to students with varying capabilities and SEL support.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents.
