Founded in 1998, Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is a high‑performing public charter school serving more than 1,750 students in Kindergarten through Grade 12.
At Mystic Valley, student success is built upon exceptional teaching, carefully selected curricula implemented with fidelity, high expectations, and a traditional, structured approach to education. Through its rigorous academic model, the school consistently ranks among the top public schools in Massachusetts, New England, and across the nation. Our graduates regularly achieve success at the post‑secondary level, reflecting the strong academic foundation established during their time at Mystic Valley.
Students attend school for 200 instructional days each year, follow a dress code, and benefit from an extended school day that is approximately 60 minutes longer than that of most traditional public schools. Together, these elements support the school’s mission of providing every student with access to a world‑class education.
The Elementary Paraprofessional supports student learning, classroom instruction, and classroom management in order to maintain a focused, structured, and positive learning environment. Working under the direction of the classroom teacher and the supervision of school leadership, the paraprofessional assists with both instructional and non‑instructional responsibilities to help maximize student achievement and success.
The ideal candidate is dependable, collaborative, student‑centered, and eager to contribute to a rigorous academic environment.
This is a full‑time, school‑year position that is evaluated annually and subject to yearly appointment.
