Job summary

Education Jobs NJ is seeking a Paraprofessional-Teacher Assistant for Copper Hill Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The Teacher Assistant will support the Classroom Teacher in routine tasks and collaborate with the Principal and Special Services Team to provide proper care and instruction for students.

ASAP start; 10-month term; starting salary $27,020 with placement per the FREA agreement. Full-time staff are eligible for single health coverage, PTO days, and bereavement leave.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant role in a K-12 setting.
• ASAP start date.
• Must be able to work with students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists Classroom Teacher in routine tasks during the school day.
• Works cooperatively with Teacher, Principal or designee and Special Services Team to provide proper care and instruction for students.
