Job summary

Roseville Area Schools seeks an Elementary Nutrition Manager to oversee kitchen operations at Edgerton Elementary School. This 7-hour/day, 5-days/week role runs 9 months on the school calendar, covering breakfast and lunch services.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, meal counting, ordering supplies, and supervising staff to provide healthy meals and support student well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Food handling experience preferred.
• MSNA certification Level 4 required within 2 years of hire.
• ServSafe Certification and Certified Food Protection Manager Certificate required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate kitchen operations and staff.
• Verify compliance with state and federal regulations and quality standards.
• Estimate daily meals and ensure students are properly fed.
• Order and prepare produce, food, milk, commodities, and supplies.
• Oversee student financial accounts and operate the register.
• Prepare and serve food; clean work areas and equipment; ensure accuracy in meal distribution.
