Job summary

Mt. Diablo Unified School District Mountain View Elementary in Concord, California, is seeking an Elementary Noon Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent plus experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in playgrounds, cafeterias, rest rooms, hallways and other areas.
• Monitor student behavior to ensure compliance with school procedures.
• Assist students to resolve minor conflicts on the playground.
• Report unauthorized activities and persons on school grounds to appropriate authority.
• Assemble students promptly for class when the bell rings and collect equipment left on playground.
• Assist students in the cafeteria.
• May administer simple first aid such as band aids and ice packs.
• Report serious infractions of procedures and safety issues to administration promptly.
