Responsibilities

• Adhere to state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Assist administration in policy implementation and classroom management.
• Establish and maintain an orderly classroom environment.
• Plan and implement a music program aligned with NC standards.
• Utilize various methods to adapt instruction to all students.
• Incorporate music technologies in instruction.
• Assess student work with fair grading practices.
• Collaborate with arts staff and teachers for curriculum alignment.
• Maintain inventory of musical equipment and keep instruments playable.
• Communicate program needs to the principal.
