Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate music instruction across multiple grade levels

  • Maintain an organized classroom and properly care for musical instruments and materials

  • Valid teaching credential preferred
  • Experience teaching music or working with children in an educational setting
  • Strong vocal, piano, instrumental, or performance background preferred
  • Effective classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support the mission and values of Fairmont School.
  • Salary:50,000 - 70,000 plus benefits
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primarily an office/classroom position.May require significant degree of intermittent walking, bending, stooping, reaching,and stretching.May require lifting of up to 20 lbs.
