Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fosters an educational environment conducive to learning and maturation; plans instructional program meeting individual and group needs.
• Prepares lesson plans and uses appropriate methods and materials; implements curriculum objectives.
• Attends in-service training and pursues professional growth to stay current in Montessori instruction.
• Implements assessment strategies to diagnose and prescribe instructional levels for students.
• Establishes classroom policies and provides guidance and discipline; refers for assistance when needed.
