Job summary

Buffalo Public Schools is seeking a Modified Boys Basketball Coach for PS 27 Hillery Park Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach will develop student athletes, implement game strategies, and promote sportsmanship.

Responsibilities include adhering to NFHS code of ethics, maintaining equipment, coordinating with Athletics Director and Principal, and ensuring safety and fair play. Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED and NYS Coaching Certification are required before coaching.

Qualifications

• Some experience in organized basketball at club/modified/varsity level preferred.
• Must meet first aid/CPR/AED requirements prior to coaching.
• Must understand NFHS coaching ethics and NYSPHSAA rules.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NFHS Coaches Code of Ethics.
• Be available for contests and practices as required.
• Supervise equipment, uniforms and supplies; coordinate with Athletic Director.
