Job summary

Leidos is hiring a licensed behavioral health professional to join our Military and Family Life Counselor team, supporting Camp Pendleton, CA. This is a 9-month school calendar position for the 2025-2026 school year, offering non-medical counseling, consultation, and outreach to faculty, staff, parents, children, and youth.

The role emphasizes preventive, solution‑focused approaches and collaboration with schools to support military families through transitions and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Behavioral Health Professions.
Licensure to practice at independent level in the state.
U.S. citizen status required.
Must pass basic background check and clearance.

Responsibilities

Work at schools with military youth and teens.
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to staff and parents.
Offer presentations on social skills and SEL development.
Promote creativity and positivity with approved materials.
Build rapport with families by attending events.
Assist with transitions to new school or home.
Participate in in-service training and contract activities.
Communicate trends to Team Leads.
