Job summary

Leidos Inc. seeks Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) to provide face-to-face counseling to service members and families, including individuals, couples, and groups. The role includes coaching staff, presenting at military events, and supporting families during transitions on military installations.

The position requires a Master's in Behavioral Health Professions and an independent license in the U.S., with eligibility for a Public Trust clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health Professions required.
• Must hold a valid independent license in the mental health field (LCSW, MHC, MFT, LPC, Psychologist).
• U.S. citizen status required.
• Background check, CNACI/NACI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face counseling to service members and their families (individuals, couples, and families).
• Observe, engage, and coach staff; model behavior management techniques for staff and families.
• Offer presentations at military-connect events for service members and leadership.
• Promote healthy practices using approved materials and build rapport with families.
• Communicate trends and issues to Team Leads from installations.
