Job summary

Heart Math Tutoring is seeking an Elementary Small Group Tutor in Charlotte, NC for a part-time role. You will deliver high-quality, in-person math instruction during the school day to build foundational skills and confidence using Heart’s curriculum.

You will assess progress and create a supportive learning environment. The role involves collaboration with school staff and Heart team members to ensure students receive needed support and to help scale the program model.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring for ~12-25 students in grades K–5 in small group or 1:1 formats.
• Oversee 50–60 students’ growth in math skills.
• Liaise with teachers, school staff, and families.
• Become an expert on Heart curriculum and assessments.
• Coordinate and complete student assessments.
