Job summary

SmartStart Education, LLC is seeking an Elementary School Math Tutor to work with small groups of K-5 students on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at a Temple Hills, Maryland location. Salary ranges from $28.16 to $31.29 per hour, with a schedule from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is mandatory; Anticipated graduation dates not considered.
• At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of elementary math concepts; ability to explain clearly.
• Ability to engage urban students and understand diverse educational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead small groups of 1–4 students in math tutoring.
• Take daily attendance and monitor student progress.
• Provide push-in or pull-out support at the school site.
