Job summary
An educational organization in Houston is seeking a Specialist in Instructional Math for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports the implementation of the Accelerating Campus Excellence (ACE) model by providing targeted academic interventions. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate, and ideally possess experience in classroom teaching and coaching teachers. The position offers a starting salary of $62,750 with additional stipends for ACE support, and is designed for immediate start.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience preferred.
- Experience providing targeted academic intervention in reading or mathematics is a plus.
- Experience coaching teachers or supporting instructional improvement initiatives is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction and targeted intervention to students identified as academically at risk.
- Deliver small-group and individualized intervention services aligned with campus instructional priorities.
- Monitor and track student progress during intervention cycles and adjust instruction accordingly.
