Job summary

Stanley Elementary is seeking a cafe monitor for 3 hours daily to supervise students in the elementary lunchroom. The role is hourly with no additional benefits and reports to the Principal.

Responsibilities include setting up the serving area, guiding students through the line, supervising meals, maintaining a suitable lunch environment, and cleaning tables. Requires a high school diploma, health, and ability to lift light weights.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate; read and follow directions.
• Must be in general good health and able to stand for 3 hours.
• Able to lift 10 lbs frequently and 30 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Set up the serving area to begin meal service.
• Assist students through the meal line and with milk/condiments.
• Supervise children while they eat and respond to needs.
• Monitor the cafe to maintain a healthy, quiet lunch environment.
• Clean cafe tables during and after lunch shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
