Job summary

Position is 180 days, part-time, with CORI/SORI background checks required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; experience with children 4-12 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school grad or GED; solid related experience may substitute for a degree
• Specialized knowledge: child growth, cultural proficiency, social-emotional learning
• CORI, SORI and SAFIS Background Check per 603 CMR 51.00.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch and recess to ensure safety
• Provide social-emotional and behavioral support
• Assist students with life skills such as communication and eating
• Create a welcoming, safe lunch/recess environment
• Collaborate with Noon Aides and school staff
