Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Noon Attendant for multiple school sites in Massachusetts. The position is part-time (3 hours/day, 15 hours/week) at ABECC, Elementary Schools, and North Andover Middle School. Compensation is $15.00 per hour, with responsibilities including supervision during lunch/recess and light administrative tasks.

Two levels of supervision: PreK-5 and Grades 6-8. Requires positive communication and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a positive, patient attitude toward children and young adolescents.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly between indoor and outdoor environments.
• Ability to pass required background checks (CORI/Fingerprinting).

Responsibilities

• Supervise cafeteria and recess for PreK-5 students to ensure safety and positive interactions.
• Assist younger students with lunch packing and line management.
• Perform light front-office administrative tasks during non-lunch/recess hours.
• Help manage hallway traffic and student transitions to and from the cafeteria.
• Monitor older students during lunch and breaks for Grades 6-8, promoting respectful behavior.
• Assist middle school main office with daily tasks when lunch shifts are not in session.
