Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Long Term Substitute — possess an undergraduate degree.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of MA Curriculum frameworks, instruction, and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assess curriculum and instruction.
• Meet and instruct assigned students at designated locations and times.
• Develop lesson plans meeting student needs, interests and abilities.
• Use effective instructional strategies and technology to enhance learning.
• Create a learning environment conducive to student growth and behavior.
• Monitor student progress and provide reports as required.
• Maintain records as required by policy and law.
• Communicate with students, families and staff about student progress.
