Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers instruction according to the substitute teacher's plan; adapts as needed.
• Instructs students in assigned locations and times.
• Maintains classroom environment conducive to learning and manages behavior.
• Prepares progress reports and documents learning problems and accommodations.
• Ensures safety of students and school property.
• Communicates with administration and parents as required.
