Responsibilities

• Implements GPS literacy curriculum aligned with district goals, mission, and CT Standards for Language Arts.
• Serves on School Data Team and attends parent meetings to discuss student progress and growth.
• Provides intensive instruction to struggling readers to improve literacy skills.
• Assesses and diagnoses student literacy needs and designs instruction accordingly.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers, models best practices, and supports individual or group instruction.
