Qualifications

• Valid Texas Special Education certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop short and long-range plans aligned with district goals.
• Must understand legislation, regulations, and policies for special education.
• Plan effective instructional strategies and adapt curricula for individual needs.
• Prepare ARD-related paperwork and participate in ARD meetings.
• Provide academic instruction using evidence-based techniques.
• Create a supportive classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and specialists to implement IEPs.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
