Responsibilities

• Works with the whole class under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Reinforces the instructional plan laid out by the classroom teacher.
• Provides instructional assistance and motivates students in reading, math, and language.
• Facilitates and delivers practice activities designed to enrich and extend learning.
• Assists teachers with classroom activities; leads breakout sessions.
• Monitors and reports progress of individual students to teachers.
• Promotes and supports the district mission by interacting courteously with public and staff.
