Job summary

Alpha is seeking an Elementary Learning Coach to guide K-3 students through app-based learning and targeted literacy sessions. You will stay with the class from launch to closing, building a data-driven plan to close reading gaps and drive progress across campus.

The role emphasizes on-site work with relocation support and requires 3+ years with children and 2+ years in reading instruction, plus structured-literacy training or a related master’s degree.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9 in educational or related settings.
• At least 2 years teaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a masters in reading/literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coach students through app-based core learning; identify gaps and unblock progress.
• Lead targeted literacy sessions for 2-4 students; diagnose gaps and teach a designed sequence.
• Lead morning launch and campus routines; drive weekly app goals and gamified learning.
• Remain with students through meals and breaks; plan for frustrated learners with actionable steps.
