Job summary

West Texas Elementary School in Stinnett, Texas seeks an Early Learning Academy Aide to support instructional activities and student progress. The role is 188 days with benefits provided under the PSP CISD Teacher Pay Scale, and a health insurance contribution of $500 toward coverage.

The aide will assist teachers, participate in curriculum design, monitor student progress, and help maintain a safe, productive classroom environment. Citizenship or work visa is required.

Qualifications

• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
• Reports to Principal and/or Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Participate in curriculum review and design.
• Implement a variety of effective instructional strategies.
• Diagnose and evaluate student abilities and progress.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Plan a program of study that meets individual needs.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess student accomplishments and provide progress reports.
• Refer students for ESL/Reading services as needed.
• Collaborate with department and grade level teachers.
• Maintain records as required.
