Job summary

North Way Christian Community is seeking a full-time Elementary Coordinator for the Wexford Campus. The role supports the Kids Ministry Director in leading all aspects of elementary ministry, coordinating environments, volunteers, and resources, and building meaningful relationships with children, parents, and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Kids Ministry, children’s programming, education, or a similar/related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, volunteers, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple responsibilities, priorities, and ministry activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to recruit, equip, encourage, and support volunteers in the execution of Kids Ministry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Kids Ministry Director and other campus staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based and/or Mac-based products.
• Must maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must maintain current and required background clearances and checks.

JOB DESCRIPTION

North Way Christian Community is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Elementary Coordinator for our Wexford Campus. The Elementary Coordinator supports the Kids Ministry Director in leading and executing all aspects of elementary ministry at the Wexford Campus. This role is responsible for coordinating ministry environments, organizing volunteers and resources, and building meaningful relationships with elementary-aged children, parents, and volunteers. The Elementary Coordinator will help create an engaging, safe, and welcoming environment where children can know, experience, and follow Jesus while also helping volunteers grow and serve effectively. This position requires an organized, relational, and ministry-minded individual who is committed to helping expand God’s Kingdom through Kids Ministry.

QUALIFICATIONS

Fundamental qualifications for all applicants include a growing relationship with God, a desire to impact the world with the love and message of Jesus Christ, a discerned calling into this position, and a willingness to regularly attend and participate in North Way worship services and ministry activities.
