Responsibilities

• Planning the Program – develop annual objectives and plan instructional program.
• Overseeing the Program – align learner objectives with curriculum and assess effectiveness.
• Updating the Program – maintain knowledge of subject areas and child development.
• Managing Daily Instruction – ensure appropriate instruction, materials, and procedures.
• Differentiating Instruction – assess and accommodate student differences.
• Individualized Instruction – monitor achievement and provide remediation.
• Supervising – maintain a suitable instructional environment.
• Human Resources – utilize community resources and school personnel to enhance instruction.
• Human Relations – respect for students and communicate with parents.
• Non-instructional Duties – perform duties assigned by administration and comply with policies.
• Promoting School Safety – foster a safe and respectful school climate.
• Reporting Acts of Violence – report acts of violence.
• Reporting of Students Suspended or Expelled – report as required.
• Evaluation Instrument – align with teacher evaluation standards.
