Job summary

Kansas City Public Schools is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional for the Knotts location in Kansas City, Missouri. The role supports teachers by providing instruction to small groups, coordinating activities, and assisting with curriculum implementation.

Qualifications

• 60 college hours with a 2.5 GPA or higher.
• Missouri state substitute teacher certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work with teachers in team teaching and planning.
• Provide small group and circle time instruction to children.
• Assist in implementing Project Construct Curriculum with children and parents.
• Prepare crafts, art, sensory materials and snacks.
• Support families and volunteers; participate in parent involvement activities.
• Attend orientation and in-service training sessions.
