Job summary

Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati is seeking an Elementary Instruction Coach to join our team. The role focuses on designing and delivering developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with student goals and data.

You will coach teachers to foster a high-expectation classroom culture and support college preparation for all students. Responsibilities include partnering with faculty and leadership to regularly review student performance data, share best practices, and collaborate to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education or related field.
• Candidate holds or is pursuing an Ohio teaching certificate in the taught subject.
• Strong data literacy to inform instruction and assessment.

Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati/Dayton is looking for a Elementary Instruction Coach to join our team.

Coaching Responsibilities:

• Support the school's mission, philosophies, values, goals, and policies toward students, parents/guardians and coworkers.
• Design and effectively deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum and instruction which reflects observations and goals of individual children.
• Coach a classroom culture of high expectations that includes college preparation for all students.
• Work with the faculty and school leadership to frequently examine student data for ongoing refinement of instruction and assessment.
• Share best practices with other teachers and collaborate with them to improve instructional and assessment practices.
• Interact frequently and respectfully with students/staff.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree
