Job summary

Kent Consortium seeks an Instructional Assistant to support elementary instruction at Taylor Mill Elementary. The role covers Preschool, Title I and Special Education, Level I–III, with 6 hours per day and 185 days per year.

Responsibilities include tutoring, classroom support, and assisting with health-related procedures as needed. Requirements vary by level, from a High School diploma to a Bachelor's degree, and include passing state or local assessments for Title I positions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups, reinforcing instruction and tracking progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student learning.
• Assist with diagnostic tests, score and record results, and monitor IEPs.
• Support classroom activities, organize materials, and maintain records.
• Ensure health and safety practices in the classroom and participate in trainings.
