Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant II for Mariposa Elementary School. The role supports students with mild/moderate needs, runs small groups, and assists the teacher across classroom settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in mild/moderate support for students in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Demonstrated ability to run small groups and assist in general education and special day class settings.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire if needed.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and assist students in large groups.
• Support teacher needs in both Special Day Class and General Education settings.
• Provide instructional assistance as part of the classroom team.
