Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking an Educational Assistant II – Instructional Assistant for Colonel Wright Elementary School in The Dalles, Oregon. This full-time position involves supporting classroom teachers and aiding students in their learning activities while maintaining a safe and engaging environment.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of teaching methods and effective student management techniques, and have a high school diploma or GED along with experience working with children. Bilingual/Bi-Cultural applicants are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and/or young adolescents.
• Must meet the Every Student Succeeds Education Act (ESSEA) requirements.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Minimum of 72 quarter hours of accredited college education or successful Work Keys Test
