Job summary

Wrightstown Elementary School in Newtown, PA is seeking an Instructional Assistant for its Permanent Support Staff, anticipated. The position starts January 4, 2027, with 7.0 hours per day, five days per week, 182 days per year and benefit eligibility.

Candidates should have prior elementary school experience and be able to support data collection and individualized academic plans. Applicants must meet PA Department of Education requirements for Special Education paraeducators, including two

Qualifications

• Experience as an Instructional Assistant in elementary setting preferred.
• Ability to collect data and support academic plans with a team of educators.
• Must meet PA standards for Special Education Instructional Paraeducators (Chapter 14).

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students in elementary setting.
• Collaborate with educators to implement academic support plans.
• Assist in data collection and progress monitoring.
