Job summary

Juneau School District at Harborview Elementary is seeking a paraeducator to assist students in reading, writing, math, and related activities. You will work with individuals or small groups and track progress while maintaining confidentiality.

The 9-month, 20-hour-per-week position starts ASAP with fingerprinting and a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PERS, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• AA degree or 48 semester hours, or WorkKeys exam willingness.
• CPR, first aid and behavioral management may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in reading, writing, math, computers, and vocational areas.
• Present materials and activities; work individually or in small groups.
• Record grades and progress measures.
