Job summary

EL RANCHO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT is hiring an Instructional Aide I for elementary sites. This 10-month, part-time position (5.5 hours/day) supports teachers by handling routine tasks, interacting with students in English, and assisting with classroom materials and displays.

The role is open to qualified ERUSD transfer/promotion applicants only. Applicants must meet ESSA/HS requirements and submit required documents by the deadline.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of good English usage, simple spelling, and arithmetic.
• Ability to establish a good relationship with young children; communicate with professionals; liaise with parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by performing routine instructional and non-instructional duties.
• Converse with children in English and help with classroom activities.
• Score tests, supervise groups during recess, lunch, and bus loading/unloading.
