Job summary

Qualifications

• High School degree, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English (speaks, reads, and writes).
• Background check required.
• Experience with children, preferably with disabilities.
• Willingness to supervise young children.
• Commitment to CSUSA values and ethics.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the daily program under the teacher's direction.
• Prepare learning environments, centers, and needed materials.
• Work with individual or small groups to reinforce instruction.
• Supervise outdoor play and supervise field trips.
• Perform clerical tasks and attend staff trainings.
• Operate instructional equipment as needed.
• Follow directions from head teacher or supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality about students and families.
