Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a dedicated Pre-K Aide to assist teachers in daily classroom activities and supervision. You will help set up learning environments, support small groups, and participate in routine trainings to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and collaboration with staff to promote a safe, engaging learning atmosphere for young students and families served by CSUSA across multiple Florida sites.

Qualifications

• High School degree, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with children, including children with disabilities.
• Willingness to participate in training programs and follow district policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the daily program under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up centers and materials.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce instruction.
• Supervise outside playground activities.
• Perform clerical tasks and basic housekeeping as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
• Operate instructional equipment used in the classroom.
• Follow directions from head teacher or supervisor.
• Assist with student supervision during field trips and lunch periods.
• Support classroom safety and confidentiality.
