Qualifications

• Complete Para Pro or WorkKeys assessment or complete 48 hours of college.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instruction and activities for individuals or groups as assigned by teacher; supervises students in various settings.
• Prepares instructional materials and teaching aids; sets up equipment for lessons.
• Serves as a primary contact for substitute teachers and assists with attendance and paperwork.
• Assists with behavior management and supports students with special needs when needed.
• Operates classroom machines; uses email and basic computer tasks; helps obtain supplies.
• Performs housekeeping duties to keep the classroom neat and safe; may assist with bus duties.
