Job summary

Responsibilities

Assists with instruction and activities for individuals or groups; supervises students.
Prepares instructional materials; assists with assignments and uses equipment for instructional purposes.
Acts as chief information source for substitute teachers.
Assists with student behavior management and with at-risk students.
Assists with grading, attendance and related paperwork.
May assist with personal care needs and first aid.
Keeps classroom neat; assists with bus duties as needed.
Operates photocopier, laminator and small machines; uses email.
Assists teachers with supplies and Thursday folders to parents.
May assist with playground, hall, cafeteria duties; performs other duties.
